And the music god has heard mine and probably a couple of others’ prayers
and Phewx!!!! no kindandali perfomance on this sunday’s eviction party.
And the best part is that all of my prayer was answered.
It went like:
“Why are we seeing more and more kindandali music when we have real
artistes in this continent?
Why isnt Freshly Ground perfoming on that stage?”
And now, ladies and gentlemen; Freshly Ground it is…..
Clearly, I am from another generation. Freshly Ground what … beef? Black pepper? What?
My idea of non-kidandali African music is Juluka … and that’s from years ago.
Speaking of old music, this leads us to 80s relic unflushable masquerading as a jazz artiste. Butler. How was he? Or should we ask your intern?
This is so telenovella.
@ Tumwi, Freshly Ground sound like Juluka but they’re new and thus fresh.
@Baz, didnt go for Butler, the intern had no idea who that is…
the telenovella bit…all thats missing is the voice over’d accents and we’ll be good to go.
it’s almost independence day..ie October already!!!
@joshi, we all hav calenders
and as if that were not enough, there is always UBC
reminding us how many days to CHOGM
need i also say there is the cell phone?
lame, veri lame
